Jakob Dylan

Jakob Dylan was born a prince. Ok, not really, but he is the first boy born in three generations. Jakob also happens to be my nephew. My wife, sister-in-law, and mother-in-law have been doting on him since he was born.

His birth was a difficult one. You see, he was born with his umbilical cord wound tightly around his body. The doctor said the cord itself was twisted similar to a candy cane. His first five days were spent in the NICU and he came out of it like a champ.

After impatiently waiting six days, I was able to hold him. Fast forward two months, and I captured some really tender moments with him and his parents.

Lili's Quince Portraits

Lili is nerdy-chic. She's the kind of girl who keeps her nose in a book and makes it look stylish. She's a smart young lady with a bright future ahead of her. She'll be celebrating her birthday milestone in September, and I've been lucky enough to capture a preview of what's to come.

I'd like to give a special thanks to photographer, Enrique Alonzo, for being kind enough to assist me in my hour of need and providing me with a couple of lenses.

Aaron's Graduation Party

Aaron is an extraordinary young man. He is a typical 18 year old. Aaron loves Spiderman, dancing, and video games. He has no reserves when pointing out who his current crush is. Aaron graduated this June with the class of 2011. The only difference between Aaron and his classmates -- he suffers from epileptic seizures. Against the many odds he faced, he completed his high school career. What a triumph! Congratulations, Aaron. This is just the beginning of the rest of your life!

Christine's Bridal Portraits.

The day the San Antonio River was dyed green, Christine came downtown to take some bridal portraits. The luck of the Irish must have been with her, because the lighting was absolutely perfect, and she looked beautiful. Even though there were a lot of people there, Christine didn't seem to mind. And she definitely didn't mind the attention that came with it!

Claudia Kauffman Bridal Shoot

On a cold and windy Saturday afternoon, and with her entourage in tow, Claudia braved the weather and allowed me to get some really great shots. Her determination to follow through with this photo shoot proves that she is such a trooper.

Mr. & Mrs. Layton Kauffman

Surrounded by friends and family, Claudia and Layton began their lives together. The love these two have for each other was so evident. Somehow, through the seriousness of this special event, they managed to incorporate their true selves. From fireworks to rubber chickens, the laughs kept coming. This was truly a day they will never forget. Here's to you, Claudia and Layton. And here's to a lifetime of endless laughs.

Claudia & Layton E-Session

Claudia and Layton are a happy-go-lucky kind of couple.  The goofy love they have for each other is limitless. Even though the weather was rough, they endured and allowed me to capture just a small view of who they really are together. It is a privilege to call them friends.
